Overview

Hongxin TPE Lap Joint Tape is a TPE-based sealing tape used at the lap joints and details of membrane waterproofing systems. Unlike membranes that require hot-air welding, this tape is installed by two simple methods:

Two installation methods:

1. Adhesive bonding
Apply the recommended adhesive to the substrate or lap area and press the tape firmly into place — or peel and stick where the tape carries its own adhesive layer with release liner.

2. Cement-mortar wet application
Embed the tape in freshly applied cement mortar over the lap area, the same wet-application method used for polyethylene composite membrane systems. The mortar grips the tape surface and locks it in place as it cures.
