Overview
Hongxin HDPE Self-Adhesive Waterproof Membrane is a pre-applied waterproofing membrane combining a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheet base with a non-asphalt polymer self-adhesive layer, protected by a peelable release film. The membrane is laid on the substrate or blinding layer before concrete pouring — fresh concrete bonds directly to the self-adhesive surface, creating a continuous, integrated waterproofing barrier between the membrane and the structural concrete.
Three-layer construction:
HDPE sheet base — High-strength polyethylene backing delivering excellent tensile strength, puncture resistance and tear resistance, surviving reinforcement tying and concrete pouring.
Non-asphalt self-adhesive layer — Solvent-free polymer adhesive with no asphalt, no bitumen and no fumes; bonds directly with cast-in-place concrete to form an integrated waterproofing system.
Release film — Easily peeled protective film that keeps the adhesive layer clean until installation.
