Overview
Hongxin Metal Roof Waterproof Membrane is a self-adhesive, peel-and-stick waterproofing solution specifically engineered for metal and steel roofing systems. No open flame or special equipment required — simply peel off the release liner and press firmly onto the surface.

Q: Which adhesive layer should I choose?
A: Each adhesive layer has different waterproofing performance, cost and application scenario:
Hot Melt Adhesive — Most economical option. Smooth, solid finish with the highest heat resistance (up to 120°C). Primarily functions as a strong bonding layer — waterproofing protection comes from the top protective film layer rather than the adhesive itself. Ideal for budget-conscious projects in high-temperature environments.
Polymer-modified Bitumen — Mid-range price. Good waterproofing performance, dark rubbery texture, flexible and elastic. Suitable for standard metal roofing with moderate temperature requirements (up to 90°C). Well-balanced between cost and waterproofing performance.
Butyl Rubber — Premium option. Best waterproofing performance among the three — soft, self-healing and highly adhesive, with minor gaps sealing themselves over time. Ideal for coastal regions, high-humidity environments, critical infrastructure and projects where long-term waterproofing reliability is the top priority.
Q: How to ensure proper adhesion on metal surfaces?
A: The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil and loose debris. For best results, install in the afternoon during summer (when surface temperature drops) or on sunny days in winter. After application, press firmly and allow 48 hours before water exposure.
Q: What is the overlap requirement at seams?
A: Overlap adjacent sheets by at least 10cm to ensure a continuous waterproof seal at all joints.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: MOQ is 2000 SQM.
