Overview
Silicone waterproof coating is a single-component, high-solids coating based on silicone (organic silicon) chemistry that cures by moisture to form a seamless, weatherproof elastomeric membrane. The silicone backbone delivers unmatched UV resistance and a service temperature range from -40°C to 200°C, making it one of the most durable liquid-applied waterproofing systems for exposed roofs.

Q: What is an acrylic waterproof coating?
A: Acrylic waterproof coating is a single-component, water-based elastomeric coating that dries to form a seamless, flexible and UV-stable waterproofing membrane. It is used for roofs, exterior walls, balconies and renovation of existing waterproofing systems.
Q: Where is acrylic coating suitable and where is it not?
A: Acrylic coating is ideal for above-grade exposed applications — roofs, exterior walls, balconies and terraces — including white reflective cool-roof systems. For long-term standing-water or below-grade applications, polyurethane or polyurea coating systems are recommended instead.
Q: How is the coating applied?
A: The substrate is cleaned and prepared, then the coating is applied by brush, roller or spray in two or more coats to the required dry-film thickness. It dries in place to form a seamless membrane.
Q: What is the coverage rate?
A: Approximately 2.5–2.8 kg/m² is required for a 1.5–1.8 mm dry film; exact consumption depends on substrate condition and application method.
