Overview
JS/K11 waterproof coating is a two-component polymer-cement coating — a liquid polymer emulsion and a cement powder that are mixed on site into a slurry and applied by brush, roller or trowel. The polymer film and cement hydrate together into a strongly bonded, crack-resistant waterproofing layer. Because it can be applied even on damp substrates, it is a first-choice system for basements, wet areas, pools and water tanks.
Two types:
K11 Waterproof Coating is a two-component waterproofing material formulated from a high-quality polymer emulsion and various additives as the liquid component, combined with high-quality cement and other additives as the powder component in a specific ratio. It is available in two types: General-Purpose Type and Flexible Type.
Polymer Cement Waterproof Coating, commonly known as JS Waterproof Coating, is a two-component, water-based waterproofing coating composed of an organic polymer emulsion (such as acrylic emulsion) and inorganic powder materials (such as cement and quartz sand).
Grade selection:
- Type I (Flexible) — elongation ≥ 200%; for areas subject to movement and cracking (wet areas, balconies, slabs)
- Type II (General) — elongation ≥ 80%; for most basement and general waterproofing applications
- Type III (Rigid) — elongation ≥ 30%; for rigid, high-strength protection on stable substrates

Why a two-component polymer-cement system:
The liquid polymer emulsion and cement powder are mixed on site into a slurry that can be applied even on damp substrates — no need to wait for a fully dry surface. The polymer film and cement hydrate together into one continuous, strongly bonded layer with no laps and no joints; it adheres firmly to concrete and mortar and also serves as an ideal keying layer for tile or screed.
